US Army Black Hawk helicopter goes down during training ‘mishap’

A US Army Blackhawk helicopter with four soldiers on board went down during a training exercise in the Colorado mountains due to an “aviation mishap,” military officials said. Video shows theheavily damaged chopper surrounded by downed trees after the Tuesday morning crash on the east side of Thorodin Mountain, just outside of Denver — which miraculously ended without any injjuries. “The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) is aware of an August 25, 2026, aviation mishap during routine training operations near Denver, Colorado,” the U.
