SoCal Edison customers could get up to $8K in utility debt forgiven

Struggling Southern California households could have up to $8,000 in unpaid electric bills wiped away — if they qualify for an Edison program that forgives the debt after 12 months of on-time payments. Southern California Edison offers an Arrearage Management Plan to help customers wipe out past-due electric bills. Eligible customers who make 12 on-time monthly payments can have up to $8,000 in debt forgiven, according to the utility.
