Giants to host 2028 MLB All-Star Game despite Summer Olympics controversy

With the 2028 Summer Olympics set to take place in Los Angeles, Major League Baseball announced the 2028 MLB-All Star Game will be taking place a few hours north at Oracle Park in San Francisco. The news of the Midsummer Classic returning to San Francisco for the first time since 2007 comes in the midst of an ongoing dispute between MLB commissioner Rob Manfred, the MLB Players Association, and officials of the 2028 Olympics. In July, The Post reported that their have been disagreements between the three sides over the specifics of baseball taking part in the Games.
