A suspect in a caught-on-camera attack on right-wing provocateur Jake Long is a “criminal illegal alien from Iraq” who previously served a lengthy prison sentence for a murder in Detroit, according to the feds. Abbas Abdoush, 57, emigrated to the US from Iraq in 1992, but lost his legal status when he was convicted of second-degree murder in 1999 for intentionally crashing a borrowed van into a woman in Detroit in 1998, according to court records viewed by Detroit News. Abdoush served more than 15 years and ordered to be removed from the US in June 2022, according to ICE.
