Fans will likely have to wait just a little longer to see Patrick Mahomes back in action. Mahomes, who had surgery in December to repair a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee, is not expected to play in the Chiefs’ first preseason game — and might sit the next two as well — despite participating in every part of training camp to this point. “I mean, there’s a pretty good chance where I don’t play him,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid told reporters Friday.
