Ex-Miss North Carolina USA Brittany Boltinhouse broke her silence on Friday, suggesting that her politics and conservative religious beliefs may have played a part in her coveted crown being stripped. “I believe and think I was stripped from my title because of my political stance and my belief system as a conservative Christian woman,” Boltinhouse, 27, told the Carolina Journal in a new interview. Boltinhouse, until then, had remained mum since her sudden dethronement over alleged racist social media posts.
