US Marine recruit dies after routine test at Camp Pendleton

A US Marine Corps recruit has died during a routine physical fitness evaluation at Camp Pendleton in San Diego County. Officials said the victim experienced a medical emergency on Aug. 1 while doing the scheduled evaluation at the sprawling military facility.
