2 men previously detained and released in Nancy Guthrie disappearance have not been ‘cleared,’ sheriff says

The pair of men who were arrested and then released in connection with Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance aren’t in the clear, embattled Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said. The persons of interest were detained in separate traffic stops: one on February 10 about an hour south of Guthrie’s home, and another on February 13 near her neighborhood near Tucson. Both were released after questioning and not charged in the disappearance of the 84-year-old mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, who vanished on February 1.
