Minor league mascot goes viral after bowling over Alek Thomas on scooter

The city of Sacramento recently announced it would be offering free e-bike and scooter safety classes, and it may be wise for the Triple-A baseball team, the Sacramento River Cats, to sign their mascot, Dinger, up for them.   A video went viral on Tuesday of the mascot riding a scooter on the field in between innings and accidentally running into Oklahoma City Comets outfielder Alek Thomas as he was exiting the dugout during a game on Saturday.   The Sacramento River Cats mascot collided with Alek Thomas on Saturday.
