Panthers being investigated by NFLPA after Nic Scourton’s ACL tear on first day of training camp

The Panthers are being investigated by the NFL Players Association after linebacker Nic Scourton suffered a season-ending ACL tear on the first day of training camp last week.   Since the injury occurred so quickly into training camp, the NFLPA is looking into the circumstances that led to it. The first few days of training camp are supposed to ease players into things with a mandatory five-day acclimatization period that does not allow for live contact during that stretch.
