LIV Golf captain says Team Championships ‘highly unlikely’ to happen

Another LIV Golf event might be in jeopardy.   Cleeks Golf Club captain Martin Kaymer told Today’s Golfer on Wednesday that it’s “highly unlikely” that the tour’s final event, which is one of LIV’s most lucrative, will happen next month at The Cardinal at Saint John’s in Michigan.   Kaymer told the outlet that there was a “5 percent” chance the Team Championship would take place as planned and indicated that the infrastructure for the event hadn’t even been built on the course.
