NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero among growing list of talent in ESPN layoffs

NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, who was expected to come over after the network was bought by ESPN, is expected to be among those being laid off by ESPN, according to multiple reports. Pelissero, who is best known for breaking news on X and on television with Ian Rapoport on their “The Insiders” show, was thought to be staying at ESPN when the Worldwide Leader purchased NFL Network in exchange for a 10 percent equity stake in the company. ESPN spent the last six months sorting out who would be staying and whether others would be sent packing.
