Fiends beat, rob sleeping straphanger on NYC subway train: cops

A crew of ruffians all decked out in black brutally attacked and robbed a man sleeping aboard a Manhattan subway train last week, police said. Cops said the three fiends approached the 32-year-old victim while he was getting some shut-eye on a southbound 4 train near Union Square around 3:30 a. m.
