News broke on Monday that ESPN cut ties with Ryan Clark, a former NFL player turned analyst for the sports broadcasting network. A report from Andrew Marchand of The Athletic on Monday indicated that the relationship between Clark and ESPN executives had “soured” after an on-air exchange between Clark and his colleague, Peter Schrager, during a September 5 segment of ESPN’s “Get Up” show.
