Knifeman who stabbed federal agent on California-Arizona stateline shot dead by Border Patrol

Border chaos turned bloody Friday when a knife-wielding madman stabbed a US Border Patrol agent before another agent opened fire and killed the attacker near the California-Arizona border. The violent confrontation unfolded at the Yuma Border Patrol Sector‘s Blythe Station in California, where the suspect allegedly posed “an immediate threat to civilians and agents on the scene,” according to Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott. When agents rushed to stop the suspect, one Border Patrol agent was stabbed before a fellow agent shot the attacker dead, Scott said.
