3 goons try to rob elderly man outside NYC home: cops

A shameless trio tried to rob an elderly man outside his Bronx home Sunday morning, running away with his security camera when their attempt failed, police said.   The 73-year-old man was walking to his Soundview home near Westchester and Metcalf Avenues around 4:20 a. m.
