Mets trade for Tigers’ Matt Seelinger to add depth arm

ATLANTA — The Mets are all but dead in the standings, but still have nearly half a season to play, with plenty of innings to cover. Another arm is forthcoming. The team on Monday acquired reliever Matt Seelinger from the Tigers for cash considerations.
