An 89-year-old San Diego man’s lifelong dream of attending a FIFA World Cup match became a $6,000 heartache at the stadium entrance. Paola Hernández, 26, told The California Post how excited her grandpa Chico Mendez had been about attending his beloved Mexican national team’s match against South Korea on Thursday.
