Kitten tossed from car window finds paw-some new home with rescue cop: ‘Everyone meet Toby’

A Wisconsin State Patrol trooper helped a kitten hang on to one of its nine lives — adopting the tiny fuzzball after it was abandoned on a highway ramp. The trooper, Brody Schmitz, stopped to help a driver pulled over on a ramp near Interstate 90 who reported that she saw “someone throwing kittens out of a moving vehicle,” the Wisconsin State Patrol said in a May 29 Facebook post. The offending vehicle wasn’t located, but one of the kittens was found.
