A heartwarming “promposal” orchestrated with the help of local police has left social media users smiling after officers staged a fake “arrest” so a teenage boy could surprise his date with an unforgettable invitation to prom. A video shared by the Beverly Hills Police Department shows two officers arriving at a home in the neighborhood before pretending to take a high school student into custody — only for the situation to quickly turn into a playful promproposal. “Today, we’re going to do a promposal for high school students — it’s gonna be hilarious,” one officer says at the beginning of the clip.
