Two Syracuse cops were reportedly blasted by a shotgun-toting lunatic who barricaded himself inside an apartment after slicing a dog with a machete on Saturday. The suspect, who has not been identified, was holed up in an apartment building in the downtown Syracuse area, according to local WSYR-TV citing authorities. The situation remains active with occasional gunshots continuing to ring out Saturday afternoon, according to the outlet.
