Minor league national anthem takes shocking Ronald McDonald twist that left fans baffled — and thrilled

Fans got a show before the minor league matchup between the Triple-A Charlotte Knights and the Gwinnett Stripers last Friday. Ronald McDonald, the clown character and McDonald’s mascot, performed a rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner” and left some in disbelief at Truist Field in Charlotte. A few Knights players couldn’t keep a straight face during the song, as seen in a video online.
