The Timberwolves paid a huge price in their Game 4 win over the Nuggets on Saturday. In addition to losing Donte DiVincenzo for the year with a torn Achilles, star guard Anthony Edwards is out multiple weeks due to a bone bruise and hyperextension in his left knee, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Sunday morning. While the 24-year-old avoided ligament damage, per the report, he is set to miss the rest of sixth-seeded Minnesota’s first-round series against the Nuggets, which the Timberwolves lead 3-1 after winning Game 4, 112-96.
