Lawler foe championed secret ‘Gender Support’ policy that let schools bypass parents on transitioning children

WASHINGTON — A Democrat vying to take down Hudson Valley Rep. Mike Lawler once championed a policy that allowed children to secretly coordinate with their school about their transgender status. During her time on the Nyack Public School Board, Rockland County Legislator Beth Davidson, who is vying for New York’s 17th Congressional District, helped pass its first policy on transgenderism, something she’s publicly touted.
