Mets demote Christian Scott after rough season debut to add veteran reliever

What’s left of the Mets bullpen got a fresh arm Friday, as veteran right-hander Carl Edwards Jr. was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse. To make room for Edwards, Christian Scott was optioned to Syracuse after a horrific outing in his return from Tommy John surgery on Thursday.
