Mike Tomlin joining NBC as NFL studio show gets makeover

Mike Tomlin is taking his talents to Sunday nights. Long expected to transition to television after walking away from the Steelers, the former head coach is joining NBC to be a studio analyst for the “Sunday Night Football” pregame show, “Football Night in America,” The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand reported Tuesday. Tomlin’s addition is part of a shakeup at NBC that saw fellow Super Bowl-winning coach Tony Dungy get canned after 17 years with the network.
