Dexter Lawrence-Giants contract talks hit impasse at critical juncture

The lines of communication were open. At least, according to the Giants.   That was the word from the team midday Tuesday amid the ongoing saga with the disgruntled nose tackle, Dexter Lawrence, who is seeking more money and has requested a trade.
