The Yankees’ biggest issue, beyond a bullpen quite likely as iffy as last year and an undeniably unproductive bottom of the lineup to date, is guilt by association. The Yankees had the misfortune of having their five-game losing streak simultaneous to the Mets’ own slide of similar ineptitude and equal length. But they are not the Mets, that’s sure.
