Angel Reese couldn’t be happier with Dream’s ‘walking double-double’ first-round draft pick

Atlanta’s pick at this year’s WNBA draft appears to be a Dream come true for the team’s newest star, Angel Reese.   The Dream picked South Carolina product Madina Okot with the 13th overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, which drew plenty of excitement from Reese, who the team acquired as part of a trade with the Sky last week.   “YAY! MADINA!!! Another walking double double!! LET’S GOOOO!!!” Reese wrote, along with a happy face emoji with heart eyes, on X.
