Two killed in single-engine plane crash on Catalina Island

Two people have been killed after a small plane crashed on Catalina Island. The two-seater, identified as a factory Sling, smashed into a remote area on the south side of the island just after midday. The single-engine aircraft was reportedly last spotted near Salta Verde Point.
