A Bronx native was sentenced Tuesday to 20 years to life in prison for the vicious robbery-gone-wrong murder of a Los Angeles drill rapper — that left the family outraged at the killer’s possibility of parole. Isiah Garrett, 27, will spend at least 20 years behind bars for fatally shooting rapper Avanti Frowner a dozen times in broad daylight inside a Bronx pharmacy in June 2022. Despite the hefty prison sentence, the rapper’s family was left stunned that Garrett could one day walk the streets again.
