Michigan synagogue car ramming was ‘Hezbollah-inspired’ terror attack, FBI confirms

The terror attack against a synagogue in Michigan earlier this month, in which a man rammed his truck into the building, was inspired by Hezbollah, the FBI confirmed on Monday. Ayman Mohammad Ghazali, 41, who was born in Lebanon, bought firearms, ammunition and a large quantity of commercial-grade fireworks and gasoline before launching the deranged assault on Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township. FBI Special Agent in Charge Jennifer Runyan called Ghazali’s attack a “Hezbollah-inspirated act of terrorism.
