Bo Bichette to play shortstop in Mets spring game in possible roster sign

PORT ST. LUCIE — Bo Bichette is scheduled to play shortstop on Friday against the Cardinals to just keep him familiar with the position in case he is needed in an emergency, The Post has learned. Bichette told The Post that he and Carlos Mendoza spoke about this a few days ago and that he is “excited” to do it as a way to potentially help the team.
