Tony Dungy said it was “disappointing news” to learn that he won’t be back as an analyst for NBC Sports’ “Sunday Night Football” for the 2026 NFL season. The Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach, who completed his 17th season on “Football Night In America” in January, shared the news Thursday, weeks after a report said he was likely out. “I have been informed by NBC that I won’t be back with ‘FNIA’ this fall and it has given me time to reflect and also to look ahead,” Dungy, 70, wrote in an X post, including a photo with Dan Patrick and Rodney Harrison.
