California taxpayers have been footing the bill for Kamala Harris’ security team as she tours the nation promoting her book. Since September, dozens of California Highway Patrol officers have been by the former vice president’s and the will continue to shadow her throughout her tour, KCRA reported. State officials have remain tight-lipped about the number of officers assigned to Harris and the total amount of taxpayer dollars spent on her security.
