It sounds like the United States women’s Olympic hockey team is ready to say “YEAH BOY!” to Flavor Flav’s invitation to Las Vegas to celebrate their Olympic gold medal. The rapper invited the gold medal winners to Vegas for a celebration in a post on social media, and during a press conference Wednesday in Seattle, Alex Carpenter said the team would “fully take advantage of that and go have some fun. ” The invitation came on the heels of the controversy over comments made by President Donald Trump when speaking with the men’s team on Sunday, which also won gold, and told them, “we’re going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that?” after inviting the men to Tuesday’s State of the Union address.
