Steelers leaving door ‘open’ for Aaron Rodgers’ return as free agency nears

The Steelers are once again willing to wait for Aaron Rodgers — but just not as long this time around. Pittsburgh general manager Omar Khan entertained the idea of a reunion with the four-time MVP quarterback during Tuesday’s 2026 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Rodgers, set to turn 42 in December, memorably waited until June to sign on with the Steelers for the 2025 campaign, following a pair of turbulent seasons with the New York Jets.
