Philip Rivers’ quarterback son decides on college football future

Like father, like son.   Highly touted high school quarterback Gunner Rivers, the son of former NFL QB Philip Rivers, is headed to his old man’s alma mater to play college football, committing to NC State on Monday.   Gunner is a four-star recruit for the Class of 2027, according to 247Sports, coming off a junior season in which he completed 208 of 290 passes for 2,813 yards and 44 touchdowns, while only throwing five interceptions.
