Jon Rahm might have to be fine with sitting out the 2027 Ryder Cup if he is going to dig his heels in on not opening his wallet. Rahm, who previously held the No. 1 ranking in the world, was not among the eight golfers who paid fines to the European-based DP World Tour and were granted conditional releases Saturday to compete in LIV Golf League events that have conflicting dates during the 2026 season.
