A newborn is missing nearly 24 hours after an inferno tore through a Queens home, killing one person and leaving seven others injured — including one man whose “skin was melting off his face and the body. ” The 17-day-old baby girl was one of nine victims who were caught in a home on Dongan Avenue between Poyer Street and Broadway in Elmhurst when the raging fire erupted at 6:45 p. m.
