Royals keeping Salvador Perez on two-year, $25 million extension

Salvador Perez is staying in Kansas City.   The Royals catcher signed a two-year contract extension that takes the place of a club option that Kansas City had for 2026, the team announced Tuesday night.   The team did not release financial details for the new deal, but The Post’s Joel Sherman confirmed the extension is worth $25 million.
