Pacers’ Obi Toppin needs surgery that’ll sideline him until February

Obi Toppin will be out for a while.   The Pacers forward is set to undergo surgery to place a screw in his right foot, sidelining him until at least February, head coach Rick Carlisle revealed Friday.   The former Knicks first-round pick left Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves with what was thought to be a hamstring injury before news of the foot injury emerged.
