49ers give positive Brock Purdy injury update in potential Week 3 boost

Kyle Shanahan hinted that Brock Purdy “does have a chance” to play on Sunday when the 49ers face the Cardinals in their home opener.   Purdy was back at 49ers practice on Wednesday in a limited capacity, the head coach told reporters.   The 49ers quarterback has been dealing with a toe injury that kept him out of practice last week and forced him to miss San Francisco’s 26-21 win over the Saints.
