Marine veteran found shot dead on side of Texas road after Uber shift

A Marine Corps veteran was found shot dead on the side of a Texas road after wrapping up his Uber driving shift. Harris County Sheriff’s Office said its deputies responded to a call of a pedestrian possibly involved in a hit-and-run at around 11 p. m.
