A vegan firefighter from Missouri hosed down a burning tractor-trailer truck hauling 40,000 pounds of ribeye steak in a culinary catastrophe the department called a “a total loss. ” Jenna Ulrich, of the Doolittle Rural Fire Protection District, raced to her very first high-steaks emergency on Interstate 174 Monday despite her status as the department’s only official herbivore, officials said.   “Nothing says ‘welcome to the fire service’ like sending the probie to put out 40,000 pounds of flaming ribeye!” the department wrote in a Facebook post.
