Fever guard Sophie Cunningham fired back at an X user who called her sister a bitch following remarks made about “poor officiating” and the WNBA protecting its players. After Sophie suffered a season-ending right knee injury in Sunday’s overtime win over the Sun, her sister, Lindsey Cunningham, wrote on X, “@WNBA maybe you should focus less on fining players for commenting on your poor officiating & more about hiring officials that are able to call a consistent game and protect your athletes. Pathetic.
