Beloved YouTube star and animal rights activist Mikayla Raines’ cause of death has been confirmed. The 29-year-old, whose animal rescue efforts earned her a loyal social media following, died by suicide, the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office said, confirming her husband Ethan Frankamp’s initial post. Raines hanged herself in the barn on her property in Faribault, Minn.
