Mamdani and Lander cross-endorse each other in last ditch effort to dethrone Cuomo in NYC mayoral race

A pair of lefty mayoral hopefuls — Zohran Mamdani and Brad Lander — have cross endorsed each other in a last-ditch attempt to take down frontrunner Andrew Cuomo. The new coalition comes a day before early voting is set to start and just 11 days before the primary as the field of flailing campaigns make their last ditch attempts to be relevant contenders. “After four years of Eric Adams, New York deserves a Mayor with integrity, who puts New Yorkers’ needs ahead of their own,” said current comptroller Lander.
