An NYC lawyer wants United Airlines to pay him $65,000 for leaving him “stranded” at Newark Airport. The airline at first blamed mechanical issues, then weather, for canceling the June 28, 2023 flight from Newark to San Francisco, Jonathan Davidoff claimed in a lawsuit. But the weather was clear when Davidoff, 52 — who said he has flown more than two million miles with United — arrived to catch Flight 2032 for the journey to California to attend to Wineosaurus, a small wine business he owns, he said.
