Maniac bashes NYC straphanger in head with butt of knife after outburst on train: cops

A maniac bashed a Queens straphanger in the head with the butt of a knife after an early Monday outburst on the train, cops and sources said. The 38-year-old victim was riding a southbound 7 train approaching the 69th Street station in Woodside around 1:40 a. m.
